Masoud Barzani

Salahadin, Kurdistan Region of Iraq- President Masoud Barzani through a telephone conversation with Adil Abdul-Mahdi expressed his support to him and wished for a successful effort at securing the forming the upcoming Iraqi government. Adil Abdul-Mahdi was tasked with the assignment to form the government during the last session of the Council of Representatives. The President made reference to the fact that Mr. Adil Abdul-Mahdi has a long history of struggle against the Saddam regime and added that he has been a close friend of the people of Kurdistan.
