President Barzani Issues a Statement on the Attack on Koye
President Masoud Barzani issued a statement today condemning the shelling of both PDK-I, Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan's headquarters in Koya. In the statement, President Barzani expressed his concern about the attack by the Islamic Republic of Iran which resulted in the loss of life of a number of people and the wounding of many others. President Barzani expressed his condolences to the families and loved ones of those who were killed and wished for a speedy recovery to the wounded.
The President also called upon all sides not to turn the Kurdistan into a region of rivalries. The statement concluded by stating that Kurdish issues cannot be resolved through violence and that these issues should be approached peacefully.
