Masoud Barzani

Salahadin, Kurdistan Region of Iraq, (Barzani Headquarters)- President Masoud Barzani issued a statement today on the occasion of the New Year. In the statement, President Barzani conveyed his greetings to the people of Kurdistan, particularly the Peshmerga forces and the families and loved ones of those who paid the ultimate price. The President stated that he hoped the coming year will bring about more peace and stability to the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and beyond. 

The statement also made reference to the fact that he is optimistic about the future and that he hoped the new Kurdistan government will be at the service of the people of Kurdistan.
