President Barzani Receives a Reform Delegation
Salahadin, Kurdistan Region- President Masoud Barzani received a Reform delegation headed by Ammar al-Hakim. The meeting commenced with exchanges of views on the political developments in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region particularly the recent parliamentary elections in the Kurdistan Region and the process of government formation in Baghdad.
President Barzani reiterated his position on the significance of partnership and consensus when forming the new cabinet in Baghdad. Additionally, the President made reference to having a clear mechanism in place which would guarantee certain rights of the people of the Kurdistan Region.
